Making a traditional Ainu musical instrument (Museum of Northern Peoples)

北方民族資料館アイヌ楽器作り / Hoppouminzoku shiryoukan ainugakki tsukuri

You can make and play the mukkuri, or mouth harp, of the Ainu, who are indigenous to Hokkaido and surrounding islands. It will take about 90 minutes. No language other than Japanese is available. You need to make a reservation by telephone.
