Ishiya Seika – the manufacturer of the famous Shiroi Koibito, will be opening the “Shiroi Koibito Hakodate Bay Museum” on April 10, 2026. Located in a beautifully restored historic building, this marks the company’s first directly managed store in the southern Hokkaido region.

  • Hakodate Exclusive Sweet: The “Lang de Pie“
    A brand-new treat you won’t find anywhere else! It combines ISHIYA’s signature langue de chat with a light, crispy pie crust to create a unique texture. It is available in two flavors. You can also purchase “Custom Label Pies” to create a one-of-a-kind gift.
  • The First “Open Kitchen” Concept
    For the first time in an ISHIYA store, visitors can watch the sweets being made up close in an open kitchen. The interior of the traditional warehouse (kura) is designed to look like the inside of a ship, offering great photo spots and original capsule toy machines.
  • Hakodate-Limited Design “Shiroi Koibito”
    Hokkaido’s classic souvenir, “Shiroi Koibito,” will be available in special packaging exclusive to Hakodate. Additionally, keep an eye out for the Hakodate-exclusive “Koibito Selection,” a gift set featuring Shiroi Koibito and the “Mifuyu Kogareyuki” mille-feuille.
