The Hakodate–Ōma Tuna Ticket is a special travel package offered by Tsugaru Strait Ferry, that lets you take a day trip from Hakodate to Ōma Town, the nothernmost point of Honshu. You may even spot dolphins during the 90 minutes one-way cruise!
After arriving in Ōma, known locally as the “holy land of tuna,” you can choose one of four renowned local restaurants and enjoy a special tuna lunch. Enjoy a luxurious time of sightseeing and gourmet food.
Furthermore, you will also receive special tour of the worship hall dedicated to Mazu, a sea goddess enshrined at Ōma Inari Shrine. Also worshipped in Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places as the guardian deity of sailors and merchants. This is a rare opportunity to visit the shrine that can only be experienced through this plan.
