The “Hakodate x Golden Kamuy” Special Event Executive Committee will hold a collaborative event in Hakodate, the setting of the TV anime Golden Kamuy, to commemorate the series` broadcast and invite visitors to explore and experience the city.

(1)Photo Spot Installations

Character standees will be installed at locations featured in the series, as well as tourist attractions. Enjoy taking commemorative photos with the characters as a memento of your trip.

(3)AR Rally

In addition to the stamp rally, an AR rally will be held. By launching the app at designated locations, visitors can obtain original AR photo frames using newly illustrated artwork (8 types in total).
The AR photo frames can be used throughout the city, allowing visitors to enjoy sightseeing with the characters.

 

(4)Event Poster Display

Original illustrated posters will be displayed at various locations. Visitors can enjoy exploring the city while searching for all 8 different designs.

 

(5) JR Hokkaido Collaboration

In collaboration with JR Hokkaido, the event will be promoted using vertical design signage installed at stations in the Sapporo area. Posters will also be displayed inside local trains in the Sapporo area and on the “Hakodate Liner”. Daily commuters as well as tourists can naturally come across information about the event.

Welcome flags and banners featuring original illustrations will be displayed in Hakodate City, Nanae Town, and Hokuto City to greet visitors.

About the TV anime “Golden Kamuy”

The original work is a hit manga by Satoru Noda, serialized in Weekly Young Jump. It has received numerous awards, including first place in the Manga Taisho 2016 and the Manga Grand Prize at the 22nd Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. The series consists of 31 volumes in total and has surpassed 30 million copies in cumulative circulation. In addition, the live-action film and drama adaptations have also been highly successful, and its popularity has shown no sign of slowing even after the end of the serialization.

The final chapter, which brings the story to its conclusion, is currently airing from January 2026. With the same production carried over from the fourth season, the animation studio Brains Base and chief director Shizutaka Sugahara, this amazing entertainment story surrounding the Ainu gold treasure reaches its conclusion in animated form!
