On April 20, cherry blossoms in Hakodate were declared to be in full bloom.
From April 21 to May 6, nighttime cherry blossom viewing with illuminations, known as “Hanami Illumination,” will be held at Hakodate Park and Goryokaku Park.

Food stalls have also opened at Hakodate Park, making the hanami atmosphere even more lively. In the past few days, strong winds have made it feel a bit chilly at times. When going out, please dress warmly, such as by bringing a jacket.
