Due to heavy rainfall from August 27 to August 28, soil inflow and a train derailment (out-of-service train) occurred on the Muroran Line. As a result, certain train services are suspended.

[Suspension of Operation]
Muroran Line (Oshamambe to Date-Mombetsu): Suspended all day from the first train.

[Alternative Transportation]
Due to roadbed washout and soil inflow between Shizukari and Koboro Stations caused by the heavy rain on August 27, train services on the Muroran Line (Higashi-Muroran to Oshamambe) are suspended. Alternative bus transportation will be provided.
In addition, extra rapid trains will operate on the Hakodate Line (Oshamambe to Hakodate).

August 30 (Sun) to September 2 (Wed)
