Starting June 11, 2026, the AI Information Service “Picto STAND” has officially begun operation at the information counter on the first floor of the Hakodate Airport International Terminal.

The system features an AI avatar named “Hibiki Hoshimi” on the terminal display. You can interact with the system via touchscreen or by speaking directly to the avatar. Using generative AI, the system provides information such as airport facilities and floor maps, tourist attractions, and transportation options around Hakodate in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Do give it a try during your visit!
