[Operation of Limited Express Niseko]
On September 8 and 9, the limited express Niseko will operate one round trip per day via Kutchan and Otaru.
[Previous Service Suspensions and Replacement Transportation]
Due to heavy rainfall from August 27 to 28, mud and debris entered the tracks on the Muroran Line, and a train derailment occurred involving an out-of-service train. As a result, some train services have been suspended.
Between Shizukari Station and Kofuro Station, heavy rainfall on August 27 caused mud and debris to enter the tracks and sections of the trackbed to be washed away. Train services have therefore been suspended between Higashi-Muroran and Oshamambe on the Muroran Line, with replacement bus services operating in the affected section.
In addition, temporary rapid train services will operate between Oshamambe and Hakodate on the Hakodate Line.
